Add a speech-to-text option, such as a microphone button, to the text fields in features that relate to People We Support/Participant records. Staff could then dictate entries and review or edit the text before saving.

Speech-to-text would make StoriiCare more inclusive for a diverse care workforce. Care staff who speak English as a second language, or who have dyslexia, can find it slow and difficult to write detailed records in StoriiCare. This can affect how quickly records are completed, and how complete and accurate they are. It would also support better-quality records, which matters for audits and continuity of care.
